Installation Instructions

Attention should be paid to the installation of lead glass:
1. Lead glass is a brittle material with a large specific gravity, so be sure to handle it gently when displacing it.
2. During installation, the surrounding glass must be staggered with the wall protection material to prevent the joint from leaking radiation.
3.Because it is rich in lead and barium, lead glass is susceptible to acid and alkali pollution, and it is not easy to install or store in sour gas or humid environment.
4. The surface of lead glass is more easily scratched than ordinary glass and must be handled carefully.
 

Application

1. The main performance of lead glass is optically clear, transparent protective shielding and a low-quality protective glass plate with specified attenuation performance. Its attenuation performance is 0.22mmpb per millimeter.

2. The scope of application can be installed in the protective windows of the observation window laboratory of X-ray inspection and CT scanning, the lenses of goggles, the X-ray screens of airport security inspection and the protective windows for industrial flaw detection.
