Both Cr12MoV and SKD11 are high-carbon and high-chromium cold work die steels, with a hardness of HRC58-60 and good wear resistance. However, due to the high carbon and high chromium die steel, it is easy to form carbide aggregation, resulting in the commonality of poor local impact toughness. The carbon content and alloy composition of Cr12MoV and SKD11 are different, resulting in different performances.

use:
1) This steel can be used to make punches, dies and inserts with complex shapes of punching dies with a material thickness of >3mm. The recommended hardness is 58~62HRC when making punches, and 60~64HRC when making punches.
2) It is used to make punches and dies that require high wear resistance in punching dies. When making punches, the recommended hardness is guanidine 60~62HRC, and when making concave molds, it is recommended that the hardness be 62~64HRC.
3) It is used to make concave dies that require drawing resistance in deep drawing dies, and the recommended hardness is 62 ~ 64HRC.
4) It is used to make punches, concave dies and inserts that require wear resistance and complex shapes in bending dies. The recommended hardness is 60~64HRC when making punches, and 60~64HRC when making concave molds
5) Punch and die for cold extrusion of aluminum parts. The recommended hardness is 60~62HRC when making punches, and 62-64HRC when making concave molds.
